WHAT DOES THE NAME EYD MEAN?

Pronounced EYD sounds like the English word for help - aid. At the same time, the three letters stand for "empower your dressmaker".

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE?

A friend once called us a well-dressed human rights initiative. That sums it up quite well. We stand up against human trafficking, educate people about the problem and at the same time give survivors a new start. To do this, we work with charitable partner workshops where former forced prostitutes get fair work and new hope. It is for them that we do all this. And for you, we create beautiful contemporary fashion with clear values.

POSITIVE

EYD sees grievances unvarnished, in their full force. Nevertheless, we think in a solution-oriented way and optimistically look for unusual ways to eliminate these grievances. Despite all the darkness, we see the light.

LOUD

Despite all our optimism, we are not naive. We can confidently name and tackle problems. In doing so, we do not go by the book and do not shy away from going the extra mile if necessary.

PERSONALLY

EYD attaches great importance to humanity. If you have any problems, questions, suggestions or criticism, we are always ready to answer them - personally.

EMPOWERMENT

EYD gives a voice to those who cannot (yet) raise their own. To change things that cannot be changed on their own. We do this out of social responsibility and out of love for our neighbour.

CONTEMPORARY

EYD places great value on high-quality work, both in terms of workmanship and aesthetics. We keep a close eye on the latest fashions and use them to develop smart designs that can be worn for any occasion.

DO YOUR PRODUCTS HAVE AN ORGANIC OR FAIR TRADE LABEL?

The organic fabrics that are processed in our partner workshops come from certified companies. However, since our partner workshops do not (yet) have a certificate and thus the entire production chain is not certified, we are not allowed to put a seal on the clothes.

It is true that our production partners are more than fair. But since they are small businesses with low production output, an expensive certification process is not (yet) worthwhile.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?

Our garments do not contain any animal components. However, we cannot guarantee that animal products are not used somewhere in the production process, such as oiling the sewing machines with animal fats.

HOW CAN I PAY IN YOUR ONLINE SHOP?

You can pay in our online store by bank transfer, instant bank transfer, credit card, Amazon Pay and Paypal. If you pay by bank transfer, we can only send the delivery once the money has been credited to our account.

WHAT DOES SHIPPING COST?

Within Germany we charge a shipping fee of 5€. All other countries will be charged individually. You can find more information here.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP?

We ship goods in stock within Germany within 1-4 working days. If you pay by bank transfer, we will ship only after receipt of payment.

HOW LONG CAN I RETURN?

The refund will be made in the same way as your original payment. And as quickly as we can.
